Situated in Etajima, 8.8 km from Naval History Museum, Etajimasou Hotel & SPA Hiroshima features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. 10 out of 10. It's such a pretty location. After a lot of hectic cities, we came to a full relaxation after the complimentary footbaths, private onsen, 5 course dinner specially adjusted for my pregnant wife. Looking out to sea from the room, a tiny tori gate in the distance. It was like heaven.

Staff were amazingly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The experience given was very personal. Stayed 3 nights here with family and friends, enjoyed every day. Room was excellent. Facilities like toilet were exceptionally modern and incorporated many thoughtful features including being able to dry your clothes in the toilet thru very effective ventilators Duvets were extremely comfortable too and drinking water was free flow

Boasting sea views, Guest House Gamigami provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge, around 3.1 km from Saikon-ji Temple. The hostel is right in front of a quiet beach, in a very calm neighborhood. You can hear the waves at night, the birds in the morning, pet the local cat or even sheep. The common space is big and comfortable. The host is really nice, and we were very grateful when she gave us a ride. (the bike location center or supermarkets are a 45 min walk, add 5 min for the ferry to go to Onomichi centre). The traditional japanese room is quite big, with view on the sea. If you have a car this is a perfect place to stay. 100% would come again!

Guest House Toranjyo-lit is set in Tamano, 60-minutes from Takamatsu via ferry and 60-minutes from Okayama via train or bus. Guests can enjoy the on-site cafe. Very traditional and homey place, yuki is a wonderful host, and gave me the feeling I’m at home. My sleep was the best i had so far, the futon was very comfortable. Yuki also gave me a ride from the train station, that was really helpful

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. Such a beautiful traditional ryokan! The facilities were great and the half board was delicious. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to tattoos.
