The best few over the valley from the room terrace. Very nice American Lady running the Lodge. Very nice and helpfull guys working there. You feel like being invited in the hous of a friend. Don’t think twice, go ahead and book Petra Heart Hotel. First of all, the owner / manager and his staff were just absolutely wonderful. Upon arrival, we were given cold juices — perfect to counter the heat. The check in process was super quick, and they really allotted time to give us tips and directions to better appreciate Petra. The owner is a very kind man — I think we were the only guests in the hotel (which is sad, because I really think they should get more business), and they specially prepared our breakfast just for us. Even cooked us extra omelets when we asked for eggs. He was very attentive, and even explained each of the food items. Before we checked out, he asked for feedback, asked us if everything was right in the hotel room, anything to improve, etc. The bedroom itself was spacious! A lot more roomy than I expected! It offers a lovely view of the sunset, and they even gave us free chocolates as part of the amenities. The toilet was clean, and water pressure was good. It’s walking distance to the restaurants, and super short distance to Petra Visitor Office itself. Book this hotel — you will not regret it.

A good location for a stress-free getaway in Al Ḩayy, Little Petra Bedouin Camp is a luxury tent surrounded by views of the garden. The camp is amazing. From check in till check out everything was perfect. Staff are very friendly. If you want to experience local hospitality and enjoy local culture it is a must place to visit.

Featuring free bikes and views of garden, Al-Nawatef ECO camp- Dana Nature Reserve is a recently renovated campground located in Dana, 21 km from Shobak Castle. Leiri oli erittäin mieluisa. Näkymät ovat ensiluokkaiset ja tarjolla olevat ruoat ovat riittoisia ja herkullisia. Suosittelisin leiriä varauksetta kenelle tahansa. Leirin sijainti on hyvä ja siitä on helppo tehdä päiväretki esimerkiksi Petraan. Myös tarjolla olevien retkien hinta-laatu -suhde on todella hyvä.

Tämä hotelli sijaitsee vain 100 metrin päässä Petran porteilta, ja se tarjoaa tilavia huoneita, joissa on taulu-tv. Siellä on myös kattopuutarha ja ulkouima-allas, joka on avoinna kausiluontoisesti. This hotel is a must. Location is perfect if you want to go and see Petra! On arrival after a 6hr drive, reception greeted us and checked us in extremely efficiently. The room was perfect, views were amazing. Everything in the room was complimentary from bath salts, to face mask, water, fruit, crisps, chcolate and nuts. Everythig you need to do Petra. This hotel definitely gets my vote. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and on our day of checking out of 4 rooms, they offered us to keep one room free of charge so we could shower after walking 20km before moving on at 15:00. Situated in Dana, 27 km from Shobak Castle, Dana luxury huts features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Great place and family hospitality. Organized superb hike for us in one of the most beautiful locations we’ve ever been and with super friendly guide Ahmad. Highly recommended! Comfortable rooms and though it was winter cold they brought us a heater. I would only suggest to use electric heaters that are safe to run through the night instead of the gas one. Super tasty home cooked food as well!
