She welcomed us and was willing to help us in whatever we asked for. The kitchen is very well equipped with anything you may need in case someone wants to cook, she even had croissants, merenda, coffee and a bottle of water which you rarely find in Italy for the first 2 breakfasts.The house is located up on a hill with a wonderful view. As very well described in the listing, you need to have a very narrow car to reach the house, but even if you haven't, there is always a service car that the guests can use! So Rafaella has a solution for everything!

We were treated every day to a freshly prepared 4 course breakfast from Teresa, all with local ingredients of the farm. The food was absolutely delicious & beautifully presented. The property is situated about 10 minutes up the hill from Vico centre & the buses run roughly every hour. The small village of St Andrea has some lovely restaurants (all with amazing views) & very friendly locals. We cannot recommend Il Caseo Di Don Matteo highly enough. An immaculate hotel with a superb restaraunt. Most comfortable bed and best sleep ever, beautiful pool and yard with fruits, vegetables and herbs that are used to prepare your breakfast/dinner. We travel a lot and this was the perhaps the nicest breakfast in all our travels so far. All of the other little luxuries you can think of (espresso machine, room decoration to the smallest detail, shower etc) are of course included. We came with a baby and the staff were incredibly accomodating - such nice staff! We also had dinner in the Michelin restauarant and it was divine (we ordered a la cart, not the fixed menu).
