We stayed in the tree house at Kalidasa for 3 nights, what a truly magical experience we had! The accommodation in the treehouse is basic, clean and comfortable, but the setting and the hospitality of Sudheesh and his family are exceptional. Their recommended driver, Namshi, organised all our transport and arranged safaris for us. Sudheesh’s wife and mother produced delicious home cooked meals and Sudheesh was very happy to share his extensive knowledge of the area. They made our stay, in what is already a really beautiful place, as good as it could be. If you get chance to have a massage whilst you’re there, do, it’s another great experience! For a genuine local and back to nature experience, we highly recommend this place.

Mount Xanadu Resorts ligger i Ambalavayal, 15 km från Wayanad. Här finns även en restaurang. Privat parkering erbjuds utan extra kostnad. Rummen har platt-TV. We stayed at the Mountain Exotic Glamps at Mount Xanadu Resort for 3 nights. It was a splendid experience for us. The glamp stay was awesome, with luxurious inside, amenities and a beautiful view of the mountains and valley. The staff were really professional and helpful . They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Special shout out to the gentlemen who was doing the live music at dinner, his songs made dinner time all the more enjoyable. Another highlight was High Tea , with the view of the beautiful surroundings. They have an ayurvedic spa which will surely leave you relaxed and rejuvenated. We had an early check out, so the staff packed fruits and water for us for the trip back. These small gestures elevate Xanadu's service to another level. Highly recommended! Suggestions to improve: Increase size of TV. Leave a booklet with local activities inside the room for guests to review.

Pepper Trail ligger i ett 200 hektar stort område med kaffe och kryddträd. Här erbjuds trädhus, kulturarv-sviter och poolvillor. Amazing accommodation, located in the middle of huge spice, coffee and tea plantations, managed by the owners. Stayed in the Mackenzie suite, really cool suite, breathing colonial history. Really amazing place, nice food, very polite and approachable staff. The infinity pool is has the best view I’ve ever had from a pool. Of course not cheap, but worth every penny.
