Featuring mountain views, An Bothán-Cosy Cottage in the Cooley Mountains provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 8.6 km from Carlingford Castle. After doing a lot of hotel breaks we decided on a self catering cottage. An Bothan cottage sounded ideal for what we were looking for - it didn't disappoint!! A gorgeous quaint wee cottage that had modern bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Catriona the owner had even left us freshly baked wheaten bread and marmalade which was a lovely treat. We adored staying here and will definitely be returning soon.

Excellent location and had everything a person needed.A lof of thought went into looking after guests.More information than a tourist office if you needed it.Loads of brochures in everything local and further afield Even menus for the local Chinese takeaway etc.The place was spotless from top to bottom.Broadband was 90mb.The host is lovely and very friendly.We would stay again without hesitation.

Set in Carlingford, in a historic building, 200 metres from Carlingford Castle, The Old Boat House is an apartment with a tennis court and terrace. I couldn't recommend a better place to stay while visiting Carlingford it's walking distance to the town,bars and restaurants, it's located across from the pier so the scenery is amazing. Will definitely stay again.

Boasting garden views, Buvinda offers accommodation with patio, around 5.2 km from Dowth. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The homestay has family rooms. Michelle and Arthur were friendly hosts, who made us very welcome. They have a lovely home, situated well for visiting any of the Boyne Valley sights or Drogheda.

Beautiful room and fantastic hosts! Bed was extremely comfortable Breakfast was just scrumptious! Would definitely recommend Shalom. We WILL be back!

The Retreat is located centrally in the Medieval village of Carlingford 400 meters to the coast, it is 12 minutes drive to the local beach. There is free parking available. The location is absolutely amazing. The house is super clean and very well equipped. We were overwhelmingly with this property. Would highly recommend it.
