Easy walk to midtown for exploring, dinner and some shopping. Galway was quiet crowded with tourists, etc. so glad to be a few blocks out.

In a quiet corner of Clifden, this quiet haven of rich comfort and classic Irish hospitality is just 93 steps from the vibrant buzz of Clifden town centre. Wow, what a beautiful little place. The accommodation is right in the heart of town, close to restaurants and pubs, and the drive in and out was superb. The room was more than satisfactory, with a lovely shower. Breakfast was amazing, with the salmon and scrambled eggs being the winner, but the Ful Irish Breakfast was enjoyed by my other significant half.

On the shores of Killary Harbour lies Ireland"s oldest coaching inn. Dating from 1796, you"ll find traditional home cooking, antique furniture and the most spectacular views in Ireland. It was perfect for my dog to stay with patio doors from bedroom , the view was stunning , food was beautiful and great value, staff lovely would definitely be back .

The Brook Lodge is set in Galway, 2.6 km from Grattan Beach, 800 metres from National University of Galway, and 1.7 km from St. Nicholas Collegiate Church. This was such a lovely, warm and cosy place. It's an easy walk to town. The facilities are top notch and you get breakfast! So speaking of breakfast, it was delicious, there were so many choices and we had the best server ever! A big thanks to Valentina who was so warm, cheerful and incredibly accommodating. Such a sweetheart.

We wanted to say to Mary a big ‘Thank You’ for a very comfortable and pleasant stay we had at Country Haven. The breakfast was amazing as was the room itself. Mary seemed to have thought of everything a person may potentially need while traveling and staying overnight with you. My husband has been working in the tourist industry for over 25 years and he mentioned that any private host that does business on Booking or AirB&B should come there for an internship ;). With free private parking, the property is 22 km from... Very homey. Comfortable. Was done up for Christmas which was very nice. Gave a nice warm touch. Had a coffee machine and pods,which was very nice. Kids really enjoyed it. Plenty of bedding and towels. There was 5 of us staying and there was plenty of room for us and probably 2 more. The woman was very helpful when our car wouldn't start also. Very nice people. Thank you Martin for making our stay comfortable.

Ronnie was an absolutely fantastic host!! :) He helped with amazing recommendations all along the way, from food to activities and even the best places to park. He's lovely to chat with and just overall made us feel right at home. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the room was the perfect size for the two of us. We couldn't have hoped for a better stay. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet spot outside of the city but that's still close to Galway and easy access to so much of the beautiful Irish countryside.

Paula and the breakfast staff were very welcoming, and a staff member kindly defrosted our car windows before leaving.
