We already stayed at the Zzz hostel in Malang and really loved it. Therefore did we have high expectations coming to Zzz Ijen. These expectations were totally met. The staff was just as lovely as at the other Zzz. Kitchen is well equipped and you can refill your water bottle at any time for free as well as grab a tea or coffee. The facilities are always very clean. Would totally stay again!

The staff was sooo friendly! They were always up for a little chat and if I had any questions or problems they always tried to help me. So helpful! Also you can book the Mount Bromo Ijen Tour at the hostel. The more people you are the cheaper it gets. It was well organized! The staff even gave me a jacket since I didn’t have that many warm clothes

The location of the Maison Manendra is perfect..surrounded by „greens“…in the middle of the nature and still close to Mount Bromo. I need to mention Rani, her husband and their service team - all of them made us feel like staying „home“…!

He took care of me since the very first moment until the very end, communication via WhatsApp, which is very convenient to me. He organized the bromo tour for me and answered me many questions I had regarding different places to visit in Java and transportation. It really worth it staying in his place 2 nights. Hot shower, air conditioning and good wifi. He knows how to treat European tourists. See you in Las Ramblas!

The room was clean and comfortable. We have a good rest. They also have massage and spa, so after back from hiked Ijen we directly went massage. It’s really relaxing and helpful

Location easy to get moto from train station. Local restaurants. Awesome to meet the children and learn about the wonderful work this hostel supports. Great staff, keep up the good work and see you next time.
