He is probably the most gentle person I've seen. He received us with his boat and took us to the hotel, and he was very welcoming. He helped us find transportation when we were kind of stuck and didn't know how to move in Aswan, and he also took us on a tour the the Nubian town and transported us as many times as we wanted and he charged us really fairly. He even had breakfast for us ready when we had to wake up super early to go to Abu Simbel and even gave my mother in law a massage to help her with her back problem. Really, an amazing host.

He was able to answer all our questions and make good unbiased recommendations. It's located in a very safe Nubian area, the local people are some of the kindest I have ever met. I dropped my wallet and didn't notice until the next day, incredibly it was returned to me via Mohammed with all the cash still inside! My great thanks to both the woman that returned it and to Mohammed for liaising with her. The guest house is only 1 minute walk from the public ferry which runs all day/evening and is very reasonable at 10 Egyptian pounds each way. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Aswan.

A great terrace where excellent breakfast is served, as well as lunch or diner if you want. Very hospitable staff, truly wonderful people. They also offer good service with excursions to Abu Simbel, or felucca tours. There are very good restaurants very closeby (King Jamaica, Bob Marley. The food there is worth waiting for 35-60 minutes). This hotel is also a great introduction to the Nubian village.
