The James is located directly on the Flensburg Fjord, in the harbour city of Flensburg. Everything was great as we splurged for a night after a long day cycle touring. The roof pool, staff, and room quality were all excellent and hotel has great character. Fantastic breakfast. Great bicycle parking in the hotel too!

The room was fabulous and the balcony added such a wonderful element to the room. It was a very spacious room over looking the Elbe River. Everything was perfect.

Perfect ventilation system that always ensures clean air in the room. Young and truly exceptional staff: professional, kind and always smiling. Dinner and breakfast are with quality products. The bar and the garden are stylish. A must for those traveling between Germany and Denmark.
