This 5-star hotel is located on the Alster Lake in the heart of Hamburg. The Fairmont Hamburg offers gourmet cuisine, free WiFi and a luxury spa and fitness club. That was absolutely amazing. Just ı have expectations little big more diversity for breakfast.

Quiet location away from major roads and ideally placed for the airport by bus. Transport is within easy reach and takes you into the centre within 45 minutes. There are food shopping and restaurants within a reasonable distance walk away. The host is easy to contact and responds quickly in case of queries. The apartment was well equipped and very comfortable, so much nicer to stay there than a hotel.

The flat is quite new with a nice and artistic layout. Very comfortable to fit three of us. Plenty of room. It's just beside the S3 train line. Convenient to get to both the airport and the central station. People can enjoy cooking cause everything you need is there. I enjoyed the mornings sitting in the kitchen with the window open, drinking tea, and reading in the fresh breeze. Quiet and peaceful. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Oliver offered me to sit in the garden while waiting for the room to be ready because we came early from a hiking trip. During the stay, he frequently asked if we needed help. The cleaning lady brought us shampoo and shower gel due to the shops were closed on Sundays. Everything is clean.

The host was very friendly and helpful. It was a unique experience which we like to do to make our holiday memorable. Close to public transport. Breakfast was exquisite with homemafe jam, croissants and buns.

The Fontenay Hamburg is a 5-star hotel situated on the shore of the Alster Lake in Hamburg, within walking distance of the famous shopping area at Jungfernstieg. The most amazing hotel! Really exceeded expectations
