You will likely see and hear the howling monkeys and some nice birds. Also, it is great that you can prepare food on a wood-fired barbecue so make sure to bring some meat. There is also a place where you can make a bonfire in the evening. Throughout the day you have a river for yourself with refreshing water in which you can swim. The hosts were a very friendly couple and made nice breakfast at anytime. If you do not speak Spanish it is no problem, because Google translate can be used. The rooms and bathrooms itself are very clean and up-to-date with new equipment (e.g. Airco, Rain-shower) I would highly recommend to stay here as it is a unique experience in Costa Rica. It is recommended to bring some cash in advance for the payment, because the ATM in the village nearby did not worked for me.

Wendy was an great host, she immediately made us feel welcome, and pointed us to good activities nearby. I would definitely recommend staying here and would go back without hesitation.

Menawarkan pemandangan gunung, Villa Calas di Vara Blanca mempunyai penginapan, taman, lounge berkongsi, restoran dan bar. We stayed here two nights, and we loved it! The cottages are as cute as in the pictures, and very clean. It was a bit cold when we were there, so we had the chance of lighting a fire in the fireplace of the room (wood and stuffs to light a fire is provided in the room), which made the evenings extra special. The staff is very welcoming, and the restaurant very good. All in all, a delightful stay!

There is not glass only mesh windows which is nice but a bit loud in the night with animals and rain. The washroom is clean with warm water shower that requires a bit of tinkering to get. Wendy and her family was so nice to us even though we only stayed a day. The location is near the Tirimbina reserve so we stayed here for the night walk. Cute dog too! Hummingbirds were right outside the cabin feasting on flowers.

Nixon was our service specialist who brought us our meals to eat on the balcony and assisted with anything we needed. Very personal service
