Set in a historic building that was completely renovated in 2015, Hotel Krone Speicher is a 4-star hotel in the centre of Speicher in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden. St. The Hotel is very very nice! It was renovated some years ago and it just looks incredible, cosy! The location is good, you can take a tram to St Gallen easily.

The room was bright and comfortable with awesome view from the windows. The breakfast was substantial and delicious with home made bread. It is quite and pleasant place, not faraway from Sankt Gallen.

When there’s a problem he will come solve it instantly. I lived here for four days and it’s a very nice experience for living here. Cooking and laundry are all easy for this house. Bus stop and supermarket are also very close. The most important is, the price of the house is very low.

You can park your car in front of the house. There is a terrace which you can use. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We were welcomed by 2 bottles of wine and local beer. The place is just 25 min drive to Lake Constance (25 min to Rorschach, 1 hour to Germany and less than 1 hour to Austria). There are wonderful places around (Mount Säntis and a nice old town Appenzell). The price is quite reasonable.
