Absolutely gorgeous accommodation, very homely yet glamorous at the same time. Literally 2 min walk to the walkway alongside the ocean. Excellent support from Gift, who was onsite on our arrival and available for any questions or help. Spectacular views and amazing sunrise. Very comfortable beds, highly recommended and we hope to stay again!

Everything from the staff to the location to every little detail. Everything was perfect. I loved how everytime we came at night , they had put creme brulee or something sweet in the room.

This was an exceptionally nice hotel. From the outset, we were welcomed and felt comfortable. The property manager, Ms. Kirsty Viljoen, was a lovely person who did everything possible to make our stay memorable. All the staff were delightful and the meals (breakfast and dinner) were outstanding both in ambience, service, food quality, and food preparation. Likewise, the rooms are large, beautifully appointed, and have underboard heating for the winter mornings (a nice added treat). We liked our first stay so much that we cancelled another booking to return to the property for a second visit. It did not didsappoint. We are very grateful to Kirsty, Malcomb, Dustin and all the others who took such great care of us.

So many little extras. The view was fantastic, small fridge in the room with lounge facilities with dishware and cutlery. Very easy to bring one's own food into the guesthouse. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed to find a medical clinic and pharmacy.

I liked everything about the property, the hospitality was awesome and I wish to go back there with my family. The owner of the establishment even took us to work with his own transport free of charge...
We wished we could stay longer. It was the best welcome to CT we could have had.
Our children loved the house and the gardens around it, and so did we!
Highly recommended, but do yourself a favor and come for longer than two nights.
Worth every penny!
We were greeted warmly, upon which an informative visit across the premises followed. The explanation was comprehensive, yet to the point. The house is functional, extremely clean, and decorated with a keen sense of balance. The owner has literally thought of everything. What a view to wake up to. Simply breathtaking. The gentle sun rays, the quiet surroundings and crashing of the waves, combined with pristine bed linens, have made waking up a new found joy. A marvelous stay. Thank you, William.
Our stay at A Place in Thyme was wonderful. The place is located a short drive away from shops and other amenities, and the views from the windows are breathtaking. Lynda always made sure that we had everything that we needed and promptly responded to any of our questions or requests. The funicular is a lifesaver when you have a lot of luggage!
The hotel was very well looked after. The bedroom was neat and clean. The location was perfect for a family with children. The beach is literally across the road.
Very easy to find, A lovely unit that was perfect for our stay. We were in the area for a family function, and this unit was ideal. The host was very accommodating.
