The place is very close to Lion Rock, and yet in the middle of the jungle (about 100 meters from the road) which I LOVED. All the sounds of the animals were beautiful and otherwise the property is super quiet. The very helpful host drove me at 5:30 in the morning to the entrance of Sigiriya, which was so nice and very much appreciated. He also gave me tips regarding crowds, which made me change the order Sigiriya/Pidurangala, and that turned out to be the perfect decision. The breakfast was wonderful. I wish I could have stayed an additional day, but couldn't, due to following itineraries.

The property was exceptionally clean, which made me feel right at home. Everything was well-maintained, and the attention to detail in the rooms was impressive. Huge bathroom with heater and a comfortable bed. It’s also incredibly affordable, offering great value for the price. The breakfast was good, they gave me some coconut pancakes which was delicious enough and fruits. It was clear that the hosts put effort into ensuring guests had a pleasant start to their day. The staff was also accommodating and communicates well. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, and welcoming place to stay with great food and outstanding service, this is the perfect choice!

The owner was incredibly helpful and advised us well on how make the most of our time in beautiful Sigiriya. He happily drove us wherever we needed to go in his tuk tuk which is a real advantage. While there are some parts of the hotel still being built, the rooms are very clean, cozy, and tastefully furnished. The location is within 200 meters walking distance to several restaurants, etc. and the Lion Rock park is only ~5 minutes away
