This is a great place to stay for families looking for comfort and a little extra room. There is a kitchen and tv building is located near Kyoto Station and a mall with a nice grocery store. The room was comfortable and the hotel is in a nice part of town. Wonderful location and friendly and helpful staff.

Kitchen is very useful for a long trip for a family. Washer is a bonus. Space is pretty big compared to a regular hotel room.

The room was clean and relatively spacious. The private bath, available by reservation, was both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. The rooftop bar offered a nice menu and featured excellent views of the Saikoin temple pagoda, which were especially spectacular at night. The staff were very accommodating and helpful.
As families grow in size, their vacation needs grow with them. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater to all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. You can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, game rooms, fitness centers, and pool areas where children can play and parents can relax.
The staff was very friendly. We have a baby and two kids so they arranged a crib for us and pushed together two beds so we could all sleep comfortably. It was clean and they have affordable laundry machines you can use to wash your own clothes.
It’s our babymoon and we splurge a little for this time. Turns out we really love the room!! The room is sooooo spacious for 2 persons, and it’s sparkling clean. What I like the most about the place is the scrumptious breakfast prepared. It’s the most delicious meal that I ever had in Kyoto. Of course the hospitality of the family made us extra warm throughout our stay. They take care of us so well that we told ourselves to bring our kid here next time!
Clean place with kids friendly furniture like the rounded edges of tables! We booked the family room and had fun with the colourful climbing wall and digital games!
Well located, beautiful design and the staff went above and beyond to make recommendations and get us restaurant bookings. This was one of the only hotels we stayed in that was able to supply a baby cot (crib) for our entire trip to Japan for our 1 year old toddler. Staff went over and above to assist with things when we needed help with heating up baby food etc.
Great location to main attractions in Kyoto, while away from all the touristy areas. Lots of local shops and cafes nearby. The hotel covered all services we needed, especially the playroom and laundry. The staff were very helpful and very accommodating to small children. There was a supermarket next door so we could cook most dinners at the hotel. Definitely recommend for families with small kids!
Amazing hotel, perfect location and easy access.
We had 2 adults and 2 teenagers in family apartment. Biggest hotel so far. Clean, tidy and has a washing machine.
The staff were awesome. Organised e bikes for us which were delivered in the morning. Bikes to the bamboo forest and Monkey park. Was easy and safe, kids had a ball.
Would highly recommend this hotel to families.
We stayed over two weeks with our 11 month old baby to get a sense of local living in Kyoto. Beds super comfortable, functional kitchen with appliances (rice cooker was great!) and utensils, blend of heritage design and modern convenience. A highlight was all the yummy affordable food from the local oasis supermarket. Well located on two train lines. The host was very kind to purchase a high chair for our baby thank you!
Family Friendly neighbourhood. Close to convenience stores and Life supermarket. Easy walk from Tambaguchi station, which is on the Saga line to Arashiyama (the other way is Kyoto station). Wonderful bath, fast internet and a great traditional house with a simple zen modern interior. We walked to the Aquarium and Railway Museum from the guesthouse in about 25 mins. My kids loved seeing the Japanese children on their way to school and visiting local supermarkets and cafes. We also had a great time using the bikes to ride around with.
It’s a child friendly hotel that very much suit for family traveller. Spacious, clean, detailed with all utensils provided. I likes they are even provide in room slipper for my kid and kid toothbrush. It’s a convenient location to Kyoto station and food around.
