Such a unique and special property. Owner was very nice and helpful with info on bad (icy driving) weather coming and options for safe travel. Enjoyed it so much that we stayed an extra day. Northern lights right from our yurt door!!! So close to Geysir and Gulfoss and less than a half hour from Friðheimar (the amazing “tomato soup” restaurant in a greenhouse.

The host was wonderful very friendly. We were able to upgrade our cabin to one with a hot tub. It was spacious enough for the 4 of us and the views were breathtaking. Great location for anyone planning on doing the Golden circle themselves.

Everything was so wonderful! The host was so sweet, welcoming and helpful. We got to watch the northern lights from the hot tub which was so magical. Breakfast was a standard Icelandic breakfast and was delicious. The chocolate bread was my favorite. It was also probably the cutest guesthouse I've every stayed in with eclectic decor.
