The room was very nice and looked just like in the pictures with small and intricate sea crafts pieces. Dimitra was great and super helpful. Even though our stay was short we had a very nice time in Kalyves. If you are an early riser you can get an amazing view of the sunrise just across the street from the Villa.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by our hosts. The view from the balcony was perfect, we could see the beautiful heavenlike garden, the sea, sunsets and sunrises. The location is perfect - close to big supermarket Synka, Kolatsos beach, multiple taverns and cafes, bus station, rent a car and gas station. Village center is 15 min by foot. There is no traffic noise, we were waking up with the sound of waves. You can enjoy at the beach using free sunbeds that Kalives apts provides, or you can hang out at the pool which is also great. The beach is clean and not too crowded (unlike the ones in the center). Wonderful lady was cleaning our rooms on daily basis and changing sheets and towels every third day. They have wifi but you can catch it only on the balcony or in the garden. Many thanks to our host Apostolos and lady Sava, we will be back!

It truly is a family resort - it was so easy to relax when they have everything you need - kid-friendly food, high chairs, shade options, kid pools, blackout blinds, soundproofed room, playgrounds, activities - it was great!! Great coffee machines! Beautiful view from our room. Food was delicious and the buffet patio overlooking the sea was wonderful. We rented a car and took a day trip to Chania.
