Great spot on the Hadrian cycleway. Simple to find compared to some apartments. Steep stairs but we were warned. A few nice pubs nearby and place to lock up our bikes.

The breakfast was astoundingly good but by far the best things about this hotel were the staff. Pete in particular was a legend when he greeted us. It was like we were a valued family member rather than just a regular paying customer. He was brilliant.

We stayed at caravan number 22 for two nights. Location was very good as we were there for a wedding at a church within walking distance. Caravan is well designed and can accommodate a small family. Very good for dogs. Nice countryside.

Very cozy and equipped caravan where a lovely short break with friends and family would be nice. It's at a location far from the locality, so comes with that peace. The caravan park is very nice with a little place for kids to play.

Well this place customer service is better than the ritz. I turned ill on my stay here Irene the morning receptionist could not do enough for me even let me park in the managers packing space. The lady behind the bar was brilliant as well table service with drinks and food even made me a hot toddy when I was poorly I watched her have her own family fetch colouring books and pencils for a lady who was struggling to keep her kids busy. They just can't do enough for you. A from me will be staying again

We were greeted very wamly, and got a beautiful, comfy room with a nice view of the hills. We felt like every detail was well considered and really made our stay exceptionally pleasant. Breakfast was made and served by our lovely hosts themselves, along with great travel advice. If a 5-Star hotel and a loving family had a baby together, it would be this gem of a hostel!
