The staff were out of this world, rooms were super comfortable with all amenities (shortbread cookies were a lovely touch), bathroom was brilliant - esp shower - breakfast was superb.

The staff were extremely polite & helpful, the food for breakfast was also quite enjoyable.

Hawthorn Cottage exceeded our expectations! It was spacious and immaculately clean with all the amenities we wanted, including washer, dryer, induction cooktop, WiFi, etc. The views through the two large bay windows (Uig Bay, Harbor and homes perched on the opposite hillside) were as pretty as a postcard, and changed with the bright sunshine, occasional mist and drizzle. The lush green of the gardens gave a quiet, secluded feel to the cottage. Our family of 4 spent 3 days in the cottage at the midpoint of a 2-week road trip through England and Scotland, and it was the perfect place to relax, wash our clothes and eat a few home-cooked meals. Hawthorn Cottage helped make Skye the highlight of our trip!
As families grow in size, their vacation needs grow with them. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater to all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. You can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, game rooms, fitness centers, and pool areas where children can play and parents can relax.
Exactly as described. Clean, comfortable, well appointed with magnificent views. Parking was easy and Ronnie provided everything you could need for breakfast. Coffee was great.
In three decades of travel, rarely have we encountered more thoughtfully and meticulously arranged accommodations. The place is spotless and looks brand new, though it isn’t. It is equipped with everything you may possibly need. A “welcoming basket” included almost all we needed for three days of breakfasts. We were a couple but the two bedrooms could accommodate a family. The location , though not Portree-central, was exquisite, overlooking a quiet harbour. Couldn’t ask for more.
Mike is perfekt. Always on stage with a lot of funny stories around everything.
Very helpful. Breakfast is great in a nice living room.
Thanks for all.
Caravan was well presented and had great facilities (hairdryer, iron etc, hoover also useful when having the dog there too). Fully functioning kitchen so able to cook meals properly. Easy to get to and it’s great that it’s pet friendly.
The owners, Neil and Shirley, were extremely helpful and approachable. Dried our waterproofs in the workshop, which is a special touch.
Superb shower, and very comfortable bed. TV big enough to actually watch a film on was a bonus, especially with a hot chocolate from the drinks tray.
Choosing your breakfast and the pre-order system was great 👍
Good choice for breakfast and all freshly prepared.... yum yum!
We will definitely be recommending this gem to all our friends and family 5* from us
Very well situated for the must see sites on Skye. Very clean, cozy and perfectly equipped, and with the close presence of Adele and family in case of any need.
Thanks for that, I hope we can come back soon!
Nice place to stop for few days, that's what we've been looking for to jump out of reality a little bit. Children really enjoy it (5&11yrs). Beds very comfy. We had milk, eggs, butter, coffee, few kind of tea, biscuits, jams and more basic stuff. Thats already more what I was expecting. Would definitely come back. Thank you.
