The staff were so welcoming & attentive. The room was very clean & well appointed, albeit a little small. The evening meal was superb - obviously an excellent chef! Breakfast was great too. All in all, a delightful family run hotel & nothing was too much trouble (including forwarding an item we left behind).

The views were absolutely breathtaking. The property was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed. A highlight for our family was the extensive collection of board games, which my kid particularly enjoyed. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect, with just a short drive to the lakes and Penrith. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Lovely welcoming family run hotel. The location was great with fantastic views. Our children enjoyed the garden area and walking along the side of the water. Room was ideal. We had a bar meal when we arrived and they catered for our children. Nice selection of local bottled ales. Ideal base for exploring the area.

Location was perfect. 5 mins to the waters edge and parks. 2 mins from all the shops, pubs and cafes. Such a clean ans lovely outdoorsy place. Perfectly located to get the boat around the water and we did the cat bells walk with our child and dogs. Family suite room had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom and was very spacious and with great views and quiet being on the top floor. Andy was a great host who ran the place and even let us park on his drive for the few days we was there. Great place and would defo stay again.

Staff were very attentive and helpful. Family room was lovely and clean and well laid out which was perfect for the kids to have their own little space. Plenty of tea and coffee and fresh milk provided from downstairs. Little fridge provided which worked a treat. Location central so great with kids. Was perfect for us and we would stay again. Breakfasts were delicious with great choices and nothing was too much trouble. Also ate an evening meal in the hotel which again was superb.

Location was amazing, lots of walks on the doorstep. Peaceful and surrounded by nature, with seating in the grounds. We stayed in a deluxe family room which was large and decorated to a high standard. Lounge had a lot of seating areas (although very quiet and we received some disapproving looks if we chatted and made any noise playing the games provided with our child). Plenty of parking.

The location was excellent, and to have parking is a bonus in such a central area. The rooms are very spacious and the whole apartment is very, very large. It easily accommodated my whole family of four. It was a well presented apartment with good use of space. The booster seat was an extra bonus for my second child at meal times.

Excellent location, very clean house with all that you need for a comfortable stay. we had six children in the group. Even for them there was plenty of stuff and for all. TV, books, puzzles. Every thing more than what described in the advert. I have found Chris very good in communicating and accommodating. I would recommend to all of my family friends visiting Lakes and would love to stay there again. Thank you Chris
