We liked everything about La Petit Maison. The property was characterful, full of charm, spotlessly clean, inviting, homely, in a superb, town centre location. Modernly equipped. Our double bed was comfortable and the bedding and pillows sooo cosy. Importantly to us, there is secure bike storage too. Lots of lovely welcoming touches at this property.
Good contact with our host, who was at the end of the phone if required.
Can recommend La Villa d'Este (walking distance) for a wonderful Italian meal with superb service. Booking is required.

The townhouse was so much better than the photos. Great decor and within minutes walking to the old town. Parked outside the door and didn’t use the car again until we left. The host was quick with responding to any communication.

We are so fortunate to have selected this place to for our stop over in Sisteron. Wonderful farmhouse style rustic apartment with all the comforts of home. Spacious, warm and a gorgeous nights sleep. A great view from the terrace looking back at the lit up Citadel. The kids loved interacting with the animals. We were so taken by the apartment we decided to eat in, purchasing a load of artisan foods and wine from town, kicking back and relaxing after a solid day exploring the town (also remarkable). Our hosts were delightful. As guests, some French speaking and reading is required, as it should be when travelling around their country.

Location is perfect and the hotel room is so very beautifully and creatively decorated. Above standard than most French hotels we've stayed in.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
the friendly reception from the hostess, a family like feeling .
The chateau like building, the furniture, the view, the breakfast, all beyond expectation.
Quaint, clean, quiet, well located, and equipped. Beautifully nestled amongst the houses in Sisteron and centrally located.Short walks to all attractions.
Thank you from the 🇿🇦Reiners Family🇿🇦
If we had more time, we would have stayed longer.
It is a very clean, spacious and pleasant appartement. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It was also very good that they provided two keys for the appartement. That is very handy when you are with a family with older children.
Easy to locate in town.
Pleasant reception staff.
Nice room overlooking the river.
Opened both windows for through breeze.
Nice bar area.
Slept well, rather small bathroom but it's an old hotel so can be expected.
There was confusion over my room but eventually received a refund.
A family run hotel with very hospitable staff, very close to the town centre. The room was spacious and well facilitated, Breakfast provided fresh each day whilst the underground garage available (both as extras).
The old family house is in a wonderful position on the bank of the river overlooking Sisteron. The host and her daughter were charming and the whole experience was memorable. My raspberry tartine for breakfast was a delightful extra! Overall it was like going back in time, it was a brief but memorable stay. We found a picture of the Citadelle at Sisteron painted from exactly the same spot on the riverbank we sat outside the Chateau de Cazette. Thank you for making us so welcome and for making our dinner reservation.
The view from our room was fabulous. Very centrally located hotel, really lovely room which my husband described as a suite! It had a small ante-room with a to and 2 chairs, a small but lovely bedroom with a gorgeous view of the citadel, a separate bathroom and separate toilet. The restaurant was also very nice for our evening meal. We didn’t have breakfast. There was free secure underground parking for our motorcycle, although I’m sure the bike would’ve been safe parked outside.
