Rustic Mountainside Chalet, hotel in Blue Mountains

Rustic Mountainside Chalet offers accommodations in Blue Mountains, 2.9 miles from Craigleith Provincial Park and 6.7 miles from Collingwood Eddie Bush Memorial Arena.

Cozy studio apartment with everything you need, perfect for a couple! Super easy check-in with door code. Great location, very short drive to the village but also walkable. This chalet is at the back/end of the resort which we loved because it was quiet and on the side of the hills and trails. The pool is closed in the winter but not the hot tubs, very nice after a day of winter activities!

Location was very convenient to the Blue Mountains Village as well as downtown Collingwood. The interior of the unit was exactly as described and was perfectly adequate for two adults for 4 nights. Small kitchen was well equipped, The pool was lovely and always populated with kids. We swam daily under the delicious smells coming from the Indian restaurant above. The water in the hot tub could definitely have been hotter.

The place was clean and comfortable. It had lots of space for our family of 5. There were linens provided and some basic essentials in the kitchen. The kids enjoyed the pool, although it did get crowded at times. If mobility is an issue, there is a shuttle you can book to visit the village. Overall, it was a good experience for us.

The location is fantastic if you're looking to visit the Village - and also potentially Collingwood. Tons of dishes, pots and pans available on property if you're looking to cook. The pool and hot tub on the property was a nice wind down too - though it can get quite packed. Parking was plentiful. Peaceful little resort and seemed relatively family friendly.

The hot water did note work in either of the bathrooms in our 3 bed suite. We reported this more than once. we were told it was fixed. It wasn’t. We ended up leaving the hotel a day early to stay with family and get a hot shower despite not being eligible for a refund.

I want a refund. I would further suggest that booking.com warn people about the lack of family support at Blue Mountain.

We stayed for 2 nights. The place is closed to the village and to the beach. Price is affordable. We have everything we need especially in the kitchen. I like that we were able to cook there. Also they have extra beddings. My toddler is happy he had a space to play and also the tv have netflix and youtube.

The structure of the room was perfect for our family vacation, two room suit was just good enough for the family, and the kids loved their room very much. The bed was also very comfortable, and the room had everything inside for a self-catering arrangement. The facility had warned of possible disturbance due to construction work, but I am happy this was not the case as the whole period was very quiet and calm. The EV charging was also a huge bonus!
