Loved it - we had 2 rooms. The rooms were bright, well appointed and spacious. Tropical and Quirky - very Port Douglas. Walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants.

Great location next to beach. Staff were extremely helpful allowing us a free late check out. Loads of beach stuff which is free to use at the hotel. Highly recommend staying here

Set on over 140 acres of native forest and boasting a private beach, Thala Beach Nature Reserve is an Eco-friendly wildlife retreat.

We absolutely loved the private nature reserve, the walking trails, and the abundance of wildlife. The complementary guided tours and activities were a highlight, and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and truly added to the experience. It was a calm and relaxing vacation with plenty of space to ourselves. The swimming pools and private beach were stunning, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the jungle. We also appreciated the reusable bottles provided in the room, which helped avoid unnecessary plastic waste, as well as the ceiling fans in both room and bathroom.

Featuring an outdoor heated pool and BBQ area with outdoor seating and tropical gardens, this hidden gem of a motel is just a 12-minute walk from Four Mile Beach.

The Rooms are tidy, and comfortable. The pool is lovely for a swim. Staff were really lovely and helpful. Overall, Really good stay.

    Beautiful little gem, such a refreshing stay, family friendly and the staff were so great, you could feed the fish in the ponds throughout the resort which our kids loved. The food at the bistro was very yummy. Would 100% recommend!!!

    The pool was wonderful, good size and not too crowded. Plenty of seats and shade available. There was also a shallow shaded area perfect for small children to play. The one bedroom unit was helpful for a family, it had a mini kitchen and washing machine/dryer.

    It was clean, it was spacious and the staff was lovely. The kids loves the pool and adults loved the heated plunge pool which made it a little extra special. Sunset views were amazing to watch also! Also the electric scooters on-site came in handy and was fun to get into town! Overall our 4 night stay with family was an enjoyable stay. And experience. We will definitely stay there again.

    We loved our stay. The villa was well equipped with everything we needed as a family of 5 with 3 small children. Plenty of space indoors and outdoors, lovely bedrooms and all round furnishings.

    Everything. Spacious house, perfect for our two families travelling together. Kid friendly with a sandpit and play area outside. Pool area was amazing, we spent a lot of our mornings and nights in there. The whole house layout and setup was well thought out. The host was amazing and checked in regularly. Also items for children and babies with a portacot and stroller. Overall a wonderful stay.

    Perfectly located near the beach and off the main shopping strip, so walking distance to everywhere. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Room had everything we needed, and huge balcony. Pool is perfect for families, especially with young children as it was heated and had great shallow areas. Very family friendly accommodation.
