Located 1.6 km from University of San Francisco, The Metro Hotel offers 3-star accommodation in San Francisco and features a garden. This cute little boutique hotel is full of charm, and in a prime location. It is my go-to hotel for short stopovers when traveling solo or with my wife. Beds are comfy, vibe is cozy and welcoming, little backyard area is an oasis. The staff are just so polite, professional and friendly.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Stanyan Park Hotel offers Victorian-style rooms with free WiFi. It serves a daily expanded continental breakfast. Golden Gate Park is steps away. The history of the hotel was my favourite part. I also loved the art work on the walls.

While the decor is very charming, full of interesting antique furniture, the place is also very comfortable. The hosts were very responsive; they were quick to bring us extra towels and did everything to make sure we were happy. The location was excellent, close to shops on Haight and the Golden Gate and Buena Vista parks. The shared kitchen was terrific; well stocked with tea and spices and full of light, with plenty of space to cook and eat. We loved it!

Absolutely beautiful place, full of character , right in the centre of Haight Street. If I could live here, I would! Owner was great with communication , just such a magical place .
