This national historic landmark, renovated into a luxury boutique hotel, offers cozy accommodations and 18th century charm. Beautiful old hotel. Excellent staff. Very helpful. But you can find much cheaper parking online than the hotel's deal with the lot across the street.

I have to say, I’m really surprised by some of the negative reviews I read before staying here. My experience couldn’t have been more different. For example, I saw complaints about slow elevators, but during my stay, they worked perfectly and were always quick. Some people mentioned dirty rooms, but mine was very well-kept. As for the staff being rude or unfriendly, I can’t imagine how anyone could feel that way. Every single staff member I met was polite and smiling. Deja, in particular, stood out — every time she spotted me, she greeted me with a big smile and a friendly wave. Little gestures like that made my stay feel extra special. I wouldn’t hesitate to return, and I’d recommend it to anyone. Sometimes, you just have to see for yourself rather than rely on negative comments, this hotel is a great example of that!

Offering free WiFi and private parking, Alexander Inn in Philadelphia is 805 metres from the Pennsylvania Convention Centre and 1.2 km from the Liberty Bell. We’d highly recommend our stay in Alexander’s Inn! We had a bit of difficulty with our booked room through booking.com and Selina went above and beyond to accommodate us. She was fantastic and made us feel really welcome. The breakfast is good: it’s a selection of cereals, pastries, and bagels. There’s coffee and juice too. The neighbourhood is fun! There are lots of restaurants and pubs. It’s a short walk from Jefferson Station.

The breakfast and the staff were very helpful and so nice! My mum is on a wheelchair and when our room was not really comfortable for her, they helped us promptly. They are very welcoming and it is walking distance from Reading Terminal market from where you can take the local bus service which takes you to all the major sightseeing locations.

A gorgeous hotel. We loved it! The room was beautiful and clean, the location absolutely fantastic. The only thing we were disappointed about was the lack of vegan options at the restaurant (including breakfast) and the fact that the pool was closed.
