Originally known as the Alcazar Hotel, this charming 19th-century historic landmark has been transformed into the beloved Hotel Stanford New York since 1986. Location, walkability and subway convenience. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was a bonus.

The hotel was very nicely decorated, the kitchen was well stocked with the necessary dishes, and the pots, pans, microwave, and refrigerator were all perfect. Most importantly, the hotel staff is very attentive and very helpful.
