The hotel is in a perfect location, steps from the metro and minutes from GamlaStan on foot. I think I would come to Stockholm just to stay at this hotel. The bed and bedding were like sleeping in a cloud-did not want to get out of it in the morning. What did get me out of bed was the breakfast each morning. It alone is worth getting on a plane for-so much variety and deliciousness, even the makings for a mimosa. Yes, the rooms are small, but that is not why you are in Stockholm, right? My room had so many thoughtful and unique features, e.g. the fast magnetic charger for phones on the desk, ability to dim the lights, gorgeous design touches. So if that is not enough, the staff are so warm, welcoming, with smiles on their faces and always up for accommodating our questions and requests. We had to leave for our flight before breakfast and they actually packed us a takeaway which was much appreciated with 4 hungry teenagers.

Hellstens Glashus is located in the vibrant Södermalm district in Stockholm. Gamla Stan, Stockholm's Old Town, is a 15-minute walk away. Absolutely loved the location in Sodermalm for this hotel. It is a great spot to stay to be close to some of the more local spots and not be directly in the middle of all the busy-ness that comes with tourists as well.

Housed in a refurbished 19th-century building, this Stockholm property is in a quiet part of the Södermalm district. We loved the stay at Ersta Hotell. The rooms felt spacious with high ceiling and big windows, quiet and comfortable. The shared bathrooms were clean and enough to never have to queue. The breakfast was great. All staff were lovely and really welcoming. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Stockholm for a few nights. Fantastic budget option.

Service was great, excellent range of options at breakfast - including vegan butter, yoghurt and milk. Great little coffee machine that could be used to make a coffee for your room or to take one out for the day with you.

Situated in the trendy Södermalm district in Stockholm, by the green oasis of Tantolunden Park, is STF Hotel Zinkensdamm. It offers modern rooms with free WiFi access. Fantastic breakfast, perfect location. About 10-15 minutes walk to metro or train. Nice neighborhood, very quiet and green surroundings. Walk to metro was uphill, which was no problem for us.
