It literally exceeded my expectations! From staff to service to the room itself and the breakfast buffet was succulent. Authentic hospitality at its finest. Top notch property. They should maybe consider a bit their rates as it is on the very pricey side.

We were staying just one night in Jeddah after performing an intense umrah so we wanted somewhere tranquil to rest. We had booked Al Corniche, which is the smaller sister site to the intercontinental. When we arrived we were met at guest reception by Hassan. Hassan's customer service was exceptional. He took away all of our tiredness with his polite and helpful demeanor. He also very kindly upgraded us to a seafront room at the intercontinental itself. The room was incredible and we wished we had longer to stay. Two huge double beds, a fruit platter, a beautiful large bathroom with Byredo toiletries and the view was stunning. Everything from the quality of the bedsheets to the hotel coffee shop and rooftop was great. We had to check out super early so we are sad we missed out on the breakfast but I'm sure if the hotel service and amenities are anything to go by that would have been amazing too. Thank you so much for a short and sweet stay. We will surely return.
