Mr Bruno Olivero and Gonçalo were perfect managers and proved to be the top when it came to organise a birthday present in the bedroom. Location is exquisite and details are impeccable. We have has such good memories in Rua de Alecrim and we will cherish these moments forever.

We chose this apartment because we wanted to stay in the Bairro Alto area of Lisbon. As we stayed for a week, we wanted to be able to wash our clothes and sometimes “eat in”. This apartment had everything that allowed us to do this and was well appointed in every respect. We understood from earlier reviews, that we might hear people above walking / talking due to the wooden floors and the age of the building. But we hardly did. We were on the first floor so though the steps are quite steep, we didn’t have far to go. It was close to a small supermarket and the Elevador da Bica was just down the road. There are many, many cafes and restaurants nearby. Communication with Alexia about accessing the apartment was super easy via WhatsApp and our Uber was able to drop us outside the door.

Enjoying a privileged location in the historic center of Lisbon, the property is a former palace whose construction dates back to the 16th century. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly. The room was a little cramped - room felt cramped, but washroom was very big. Location was also very good. Loved the ambience at the hotel where you could have wine in the evenings on the terrace or wine cellar and speak to other guests. We met a few guests who we exchanged contact with. Very good environment to meet people.

Anjo Azul is a renovated 18th century property, featuring a modern décor and a charming façade covered with Portuguese tiles. It was an amazing stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (special thanks to Miguel, Pedro, Gisela and Elena who were always friendly and happy to help us with any questions we had), everything was always very clean, the location was amazing (right next to the subway), and the price was really good for the value.
