The 5-star Pestana Palace Hotel is a restored 19th-century palace, featuring private parklands and views of the Tagus River. It offers 2 swimming pools, a sauna and wellness centre. Everything. The hotel was unbeliveably beautiful, clean and nice. Staff was super nice and helpful. The value for money was exceptionable. One of those hotels that make you feel amazing and that yo udon´t even need to go out of the property. Pool was really amazing and all the old quinta rooms.

The owner/host Patricia was a great communicator and kindly let us check in a bit earlier. She met us with the keys and gave us a tour of the property. Her English is impeccible and she had great suggestions for local grocery shopping and restaurants. The views from the dining room and living room of the bridge and river are excellent. Very quiet location but easy access to everthing. The furniture was comfortable, especially the couch which is not always the case at rentals. We have stayed in different neighborhoods and rentals in Lisbon over the years but this one was by far our favorite.
