Centrally located in pretty Christchurch, overlooking Hagley Park and the River Avon, the George is a luxurious 5-star boutique hotel. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi. Magnificent breakfast. We felt very welcome and the boutique feeling is so much nicer than the huge crowded hotels. The porter (sorry, forgot his name) was really good with the kids and friendly overall which made the arrival very positive. Small great touches here and there that make it such a good experience to stay at the George. I would travel to Christchurch just for staying at the George.
