Welcome to the Comfort Hotel Xpress Youngstorget – a modern and affordable hotel in the heart of the hip Oslo neighbourhood around Youngstorget. The room, for its size, was well arranged with a big shower. The reception personnel was very polite.

Viesnīca atrodas pašā centrā, netālu no Parlamenta un Universitātes, 10 min kājām līdz metro un reģionālo vilcienu stacijai Nacionālais teātris, arī Centrālā stacija ir tuvu, ap 15 min kājām, līdz Operai un Munka muzejam ap 20 min kājām. Pie viesnīcas ir tramvaju pietura. Viesnīcas personāls ir ļoti laipns un atsaucīgs. Ir iespēja bez maksas atstāt koferi pirms check-in un pēc check-out. Istaba 5. stāvā bija gana liela un gaiša, ir lifts. Blakus mājā ir konditoreja ar visnotaļ demokrātiskām cenām.

Well set in the St. Hanshaugen district of Oslo, The Regent Suites is located 3.3 km from Akershus Fortress, 5.8 km from Sognsvann Lake and 1.7 km from Rockefeller Music Hall. Great place and we really enjoyed our stay.

The apartment is very tastefully and comfortably furnished. Everything you needed was there and we felt very welcome.

Serenity Deluxe Apartments is situated in the St. Hanshaugen district of Oslo, 1.8 km from Oslo Central Station, 3 km from Akershus Fortress and 5.8 km from Sognsvann Lake. I booked and paid for this accommodation in advance. Since it appeared to be a private apartment rather than a hostel or hotel, I needed to check how to receive the keys upon arrival. When I contacted the owner, he never replied. So, I reached out to Booking.com, and they said they had called the owner and confirmed there was a reception where I could collect the keys upon arrival. However, when I arrived, it was a large apartment building with no reception. I was puzzled because I didn’t know which apartment to ring. I tried calling the owner multiple times, and he only answered once, saying he would send someone to me. But he never sent anyone and didn't answer any further calls. Thankfully, a kind local man helped me and called the owner himself. Only then did the owner pick up the phone. When the local man asked, the owner finally sent someone to me. I ended up waiting outside the building for more than two hours. The guy who is sent to me take me to another house, not this one apartment because this is more expensive house than the price I paid for, when judging from the conversation between this man and the owner’s phone call. The alternative accommodation was not bad, although it wasn't like the original apartment I booked, which seemed much nicer and more independent. In any rate, the owner’s treatment to me was really awful.

Central and modern is situated in the St. Hanshaugen district of Oslo, 1.8 km from Akershus Fortress, 7.3 km from Sognsvann Lake and 600 metres from Rockefeller Music Hall. This was our second stay in this apartment. Very good communication with our host, easy check-in/out. Apartment: spacious, sparkling clean (floors, walls, bathroom, everything), furnished and decorated beautifully. Very good quality for the furniture, bathroom and kitchen fixtures, wood floors; tastefully painted walls. Very comfortable mattresses and pillows. Nespresso-type coffee machine with complementary capsules for the first morning. Good quality soap in bathroom. The apartment is close to city center, walking distance from all attractions. With luggage (hilly streets, cobblestone pavement, stairs) we made 30 min from Central Station. . :-)
