EVERYTHING this hotel exceeded our expectations in every single way. To start the concept is very nice and is an excellent place to relax, to reconnect with yourself and to disconnect from everything else. All the activities were amazing, the food in all restaurants was perfect, the scenary was magical, the beach is pristine and they clean it everyday from seaweed, the gym is inside a jungle literally, the room was filled with exciting ammenities and excellent treats like on our first night they received us with strawberries with non lactose dark chocolate; there were other things like coconut water, combucha, nuts, dried papaya, etc for free at the room, the hair dryer is amazing it never failed and it left my wife hairs as if she had gone to the beauty salon... our nomadic Esteban was great he was all the time helpful and on top to helpo us, drivers like Oscar who was always happy to have a talk with us and was very kind... the whole staff is perfect, the bed felt literally like sleeping on a cloud, it was incredible... the hotel is a 20/10

Green , lush premises with animals on the ground, monkeys visiting. Refillable drinking water bottles, the resort is dedicated to conservation, thank you! Beach is beautiful and clean. The room is spacious with coffee maker and a small fridge. A private balcony with lush , green views. Myan themed decor. Updated bathroom. Touch bracelet to open the door. Iberostar app to look up hrs for buffet, entertainment etc. Good wifi.

Facing the beachfront, Iberostar Waves Quetzal offers 5-star accommodation in Playa del Carmen and features a garden, restaurant and bar. I liked everything. Only issue was dinner. Some nights some restaurants were closed which made finding one that could accommodate you difficult. Some seemed short staffed.

Situated only a short distance from Playa del Carmen, this beachfront, all-inclusive resort features exceptional accommodations, dining options, daily and nightly programs as well as activities for... This is the 5th time we have stayed here. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, and they work very hard. I love the fact that the hotel is always updating things, trying to keep the customers happy. I loved the foam party in the pool this year, it was great. As they say at the Viva Wyndham Maya. The food at the Mexican, Italian and Mediterranean restaurants was amazing as always, although somebody had used our room number to book one of these restaurants as we found out the day after arrival when we went to book these, but this was easily resolved and we ate in all 3 restaurants during our holiday. We`ll definitely be back, as they say at the Viva Wyndham Maya Amigos para siempre.
