Set in the centre of Guanajuato, 1850 Hotel Boutique offers beautiful individually decorated rooms housed in a charming, neoclassical building, dating from the 1850s. It features a spa. The hotel faces Union Garden, and each room has a stylish name. The facilities are new and comfortable. There are also L'Occitane amenities. Unión Garden has live music until midnight, and while other hotels have complained of excessive noise, there was very little noise at this hotel (that's why we had very effective earplugs). Breakfast was served at the upscale restaurant next door and was very delicious with coffee, fruit, bread, and a main dish. Although the price is a little high, it is strongly recommended.

Set in Guanajuato, 200 metres from La Paz Square, Hotel Posada Santa Fe offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. It was a lovely experience overall. The staff were all nice and helpful. The location is very central and the hotel is beautiful inside - real colonial look. Comfortable beds, good water pressure and hot water in the shower. We felt really comfortable and cared for.
