LE JARDIN DU FORT - GALLE IS AND OLD COLONIAL HOUSE set 1 minute from Fort Beach. Staff on site can arrange airport transfers. The accommodation offers free wifi. Best location of the fort,near the light house beach and close to the busy pedlar street, however calm and quiet in the property ensuring good rest. Breakfast choices were many, we had sri lankan and french breakfast each, couldn't decide wich was the best. Tasty, appetizing and authentic. Rooms were clean and comfy. Overall great use of space. Old dutch house turned into a beautiful hotel while keeping the original soul.

Located in Galle, 200 metres from Dutch Church Galle, Taru Villas - Rampart Street has an outdoor swimming pool and rooms with free WiFi access. From the very first moment we entered Taru Villas I knew it was going to be a special stay. The staff were so welcoming and helpful and the whole villa felt like a home and the decor and artwork were fantastic and on point. The location was great with easy access to all the shops and restaurants but away enough to create a calm oasis on the inside.

The Galle Fort Hotel began life as an 18th Century Dutch villa and along the way has taken many guises from RAF barracks, post office, bakery, lapidary and in the recent past a pitch for the Fort’s... Great location, very beautifully done and renovated. Very unique room with 10mt high ceilings. Attentive staff, serene and peaceful ambiance and great value for money. What else would you ask ?

I was lucky to come across the property as it had just opened. Great design, right in the middle of the Fort with amazing views from their restaurant and deck. Loved the a la carte breakfast, and the restaurant & bar menu are some of the best I tried in Sri Lanka! An energetic and very personable team, a welcome change from the service style experienced elsewhere during my trip.
