Absolutely loved our stay at hotel tabiya! Rooms were the perfect size for 2, not much storage for suitcases but we were fine with them on the floor. Bathrooms a great size and lovely shower. We LOVED staying in Naka-Itabashi too, it was really nice to escape from the busyness of Tokyo at the end of each day and it was very easy and quick to get to Ikebukuro and around Tokyo! Staff were friendly enough with limited English, we didn't see them often but it suited us fine. They leave out fresh towels and amenities and it's super easy to help yourself. We can't wait to come back soon.

Location is a bit away from the craziness of Shibuya and Shinjuku, but that was exactly the appeal for us - the subway station is at walkable distance, and it really doesn't take more time to get there compared to other houses we looked at. The neighborhood is very quiet, and all the amenities were wonderful. For us it couldn't get any better!

Easy access to iconic Tokyo sights via efficient train network. 4 minute walk to train station. Awesome mall with eateries, supermarket, convenience stores just minutes away. Spacious apartment, we loved the doors and windows opening out to balcony/ Tokyo views. Facilities were great. Would have been great to have non-disposable utensils, for environments sake. Terrific value for money. We felt we had stumbled across something brilliant. Communication with host was prompt and efficient.

Was just like in the pictures. Clean, comfy, big kitchen with everything you will need. Staff is very nice and I really enjoyed my time here. Good location and awesome price/value ratio.
