A gem of a place, quite remote but worth the trip. Staff were helpful and friendly. Spacious and comfy rooms with amazing private onsen, perfect for after a hike.

Located in Okuhida Onsen Village among the Japanese Alps, Hodakaso Yamano Hotel features 7 public hot-spring baths and a fireplace lounge. Rooms offer beautiful mountain views and a private bathroom. What an amazing place! Surrounded by mountains and peace hotel has his antique charm! Loved every detail - onsens were great and dinner was magnificent. I wish we could stayed here for longer!

Minshuku Takizawa asub Takayamast 70-minutilise autosõidu kaugusel. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla. The dinner was amazing - very delicious, thoughtfully plated and almost too much food for one person. The breakfast was very tasty too and I appreciated a lot that for breakfast in my part of the dining are the table and the chairs were repositioned so that I could look outside of the window to the maple trees and mountains while enjoying my breakfast. The outdoor onsen was beautiful, and in general the interior and details in the decoration were thoughtfully made. The accommodation keeper was extremely attentive and gave me a ride to the bus stop when leaving. When arriving to the hotel he picked me up as he saw me walking on the road and I hadn’t checked my messages where he said he could pick me up from the main road bus stop.

Nakaodaira asub Takayamas, Kappa sillast 30 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on vabaõhuvann, aed ja mäevaated. Viietärnihotell Kamikochi jääb 29 km kaugusele. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla. Everything was perfect for us. We loved the English-speaking staff, the food, the private onsen, the large room. Thank you very much for everything!

Renovated in 2014, Kazeya overlooks the majestic Hida mountain range, and offers public and private hot spring-baths. Traditional house and we feel comfortable to stay. When snowing, the house looks more beautiful.

Hakuunsou asub Takayamas, Takayama jaamast vaid 48 km kaugusel. Majutusruumidest avaneb vaade mägedele. WiFi-ühendus ja eraparkla kasutamine on tasuta. Kamikochi jääb 26 km kaugusele. The onsen was amazing with a few options if you wanted something outside or indoors. The hostess was extremely helpful and friendly, and cooked great meals. The decor is fantastic and was everything I had hoped for when coming to Japan.

Offering rooms with heated tatami (woven-straw) flooring, a private hot-spring bath and a balcony with nature views, the completely non-smoking Yukimurasaki is a minute's walk from Shinhotaka... Best food we had in Japan. Amazing view and private onsen.
