Ideally situated in the centre of Osaka, Hotel Noum OSAKA features air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. I honestly loved everything about the hotel and my choice of the room. The room was really nice and spacious for me (and for Japan overall I think). I was a bit hesitant about the shared bathroom situation at first but my room was essentially in front of the shower/toilet rooms, so it was very convenient to jump right into it. Every time I used the showers they were spotless and seemingly no one used them before, so it means they were getting cleaned really often. Having the sink in the room helped also to brush my teeth, wash hands etc. It was nice that on the 5th floor there was a small laundry room with hot and cold water as well as a fridge where you can leave some food with a note with your name. The staff was super nice and helpful, always greeting me with a smile or wishing me a nice day in the morning. The location was even better than I realized because Temmabashi station has Keihan line running all the way to Kyoto's eastern part (Gion etc.) as well as other stations where you can transfer easily to Uji, for example.
