Well situated in the Ikuchi Island district of Onomichi, yubune is located 15 miles from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, 17 miles from Saikon-ji Temple and 19 miles from Saikokuji Temple. I wasn't expecting much, but Setoda and Yubune Hotel surpassed my expectation. Design wise very sophisticated, comfortable and spacious for Japan standard. The common area on the 2nd floor was beautiful, and most importantly The Sentō! 10/10, definitely the main highlight of this hotel, you get to relax in hot water after a long day of exploring the island!

SOIL Setoda features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Onomichi. Located around 17 miles from Saikon-ji Temple, the hotel with free WiFi is also 19 miles away from Saikokuji Temple. This place is great on the Shimanami Kaido, fan of architucture will love this place. Everything was beautiful to the details. Food there was beautiful too! 'Hipster' fancy and not cheap but worthe its while for sure! Single rooms have amazing views but the dormitory is as comfy and nice - the view on the tree is a nice gesture- Still need earplugs if you are sensitive to sounds. Staff where nice and helpful and down to a little chat which is always appreciated.

Brand new building with a minimal and functional design. The dorms are spacious and had all the necessities: each bed had an electric plug, a shelf and a little safe. Each guest had a basket containing the towels, very useful when going to the shared bathrooms. The bathrooms were also amazing: plenty of space, very clean. The shower had a little entry room where you could store your belongings and offered very good shampoo, conditioner and body soap. There are several common areas but the overall vibe is very quiet and relaxing.

Authentic vacation stay, amazing food, and extremely nice host. Everything was amazing she was nice and was very accommodating. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a real home cooked meal and a rest stop during the shimanami kaido.

The private two person room is great, spacious and well equipped and felt very homely. All the facilities were very clean. I am tall but still fit comfortably on the bunk bed.
