The room is great and spacious, and meals are really good. I’m vegetarian and the staff were so helpful and did their best to give me as many options as possible.

Lovely Ryokan with very nice private Onsens, both indoor and outdoor. The building is a bit old but the staff is very welcoming and accommodating and the food served is absolutely delicious! They were able to accommodate our 1 person not eating meat since we let them know in advance and prepared one of the best dinners we've had in Japan!

The meals were delicious and our room had a magical view of the town. It was our first onsen experience and my partner watched a deer over the fence while he enjoyed the onsen. The staff were so kind and accommodating and took the time to ensure we understood and made the most of our experience. We were especially touched by the gesture of some cookies for our bus ride back to Nikko.

Guests can refresh at our free public indoor and outdoor onsen. The open-air onsen is surrounded by rocks from Mt. Nantai, which is said to be a powerful spiritual spot. They upgraded my 10-year old daughter from kids meal to adult meal for free! My daughter was so happy and she really enjoyed it! The staff were so nice, accommodating and approachable in every request. I love their seasonal course especially the wagyu steak! The location us perfect for sightseeing. 3-5 mins. from Yudaki falls, Ryuzu falls, Chuzenji lake and tge famous Toshogu. We will surely stay there again.
