It is right at the end of the road into the mountains at the start of the trail for Mt. Myoko. There is a bus stopping very close. Ideal if you are planning to hike up the mountain. The Japanese style futon room was spacious and you could hear the mountain stream rushing by. The personnel is very welcoming The breakfast is simple but filling and we were allowed to make onigiri to take on the hike. It is possible to use the hotel facilities to prepare your own dinner - so best bring some ingredients. The hot-springs in the hotel and close by feel very special and natural. They have a white sediment that is supposed to be there.
