Set within less than 1 km of Heian Shrine and a 14-minute walk of Eikan-do Zenrin-ji Temple, Guest House Nishimura - Vacation STAY 13436 offers rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in... We had a such a great time staying at Tadashi and Yuki's guesthouse. It felt like home, Yuki left us a different sweet everyday with a note and they were all delicious. Tadashi picked us up from the station and took a detour to show us part of Goin festival. He also had a lot of maps and suggestions for our stay, even a hand drawn map of a walk to see the local area. Its a great location, not in a busy or loud area, there is a bus stop just around the corner and a couple of shops and restaurants right near by. There is also a few main shrines and temples a short walk or bike ride away. They provide bikes and washing machine use for no charge. The accommodation was super clean and smelt really good. It was comfortable and spacious with a living room and kitchen with fridge and cooking equipment. The room looks out over a shrine and mountains in the background. Beautiful spot with beautiful people! Would definitely stay again.
