The owner was extremely helpful, friendly and relaxed. He gave us lifts in his car, and lots of great recommendations. He made us feel properly welcome and was usually available for help and advice. The area has plenty to see and do, and places to eat at reasonable prices, but isn’t at all touristy.

Super comphy with everything you need while traveling, washing machine, kettle for your coffee, and microwave oven. Spacious with a big bed. Kinkakuji is very close, so you could be there before being crowded. The owner is a nice and helpful guy.

The host and his wife were both great and made us feel like home from the first moment. Super polite and genuine hospitable! The room was also excellent at creating the full japanese living experience! As a bonus, it has it's private little Japanese garden on the backyard which we liked very much!

What I like about the property: •The place is very clean. •The host explained how to use appliances and how to go around the area •The wifi is strong •All the facilities are very good, well maintained •Very close to the bus stations and some convenience stores •I would recommend this place to everyone •Also, the host pick us up and drop us off the station it was very nice of him •We rented a bike, which is a good decision because of the experience ♥️ •Thank you again for hosting our stay in Kyoto. It was very lovely. The best place we had in Japan.
