Beautiful location on the river with a nice shopping street and train station nearby. Staff were extremely helpful when we had questions about how to go see a baseball game in Osaka. Very attentive staff who even call the elevator for you.

Wonderful greeting with local Mochi and a refreshing glass of champagne and green tea. We were able to check-in early at around 11:30. Thank you to the manager for her flexibility. This boutique is located by the River. Our suite had a clear view over local shrines and the river delta. Imperial Palace is 5min walking distance. Shimogamo Shrine, a 10 minute walk. Concierge booked a three day tour guide for us who took great care of us. We booked last minute and could not get good restaurant or guide reservations. Rio took care of everything. Lovely property, manager showed us other suites too, spacious and home feeling.

Well set in Kyoto, Kyoto Earth Hotel provides air-conditioned rooms, free bikes and a garden. The room was really nice, we took the one on the ground floor with a small garden. The room was spacious compared to other Japanese hotel rooms and the toilet was great. I love the wet room (shower bathtab).

Set in Nishijin, Villa Front Kyoto Seimei ヴィラフロント京都晴明 offers accommodation with a flat-screen TV and a kitchen. A microwave and kettle are also featured. Good sized unit, discounted rate for longer stays, lots of knickknacks for air quality, and generally very quiet. I would absolutely stay here again.
