Attractively situated in the Hakone Yumoto Onsen district of Hakone, Hakonowa is situated 700 metres from Hakone-Yumoto Station, 49 km from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine and 7.5 km from Kowakudani... Great place! The place itself has a very Japanese feel to it, and is super cozy and clean. As there are only 3 rooms, it makes the experience more intimate and personal. The private onsen is great as well. It is a bit small, but that didn’t bother us. Everyone who worked there was extremely nice, the service was great! They were very welcoming, helpful and kind. It was great to chat with them, as they were just extremely sweet! It made the experience so much better. If you stay here, you should definitely try their burger restaurant located downstairs. Their burgers are amazing. Would 100% recommend this place, everything was very good!
