Villa Zaccardi offers contemporary-style rooms in the Gianicolense area in Rome. The property is located in a quiet neighbourhood. It is a little off the beaten path however we enjoyed the authentic experience. There are quite a few restaurants and cafés in the area and it is very easy to take a bus to popular areas such as Trastevere, to which we walked and took a bus back. The staff are attentive, friendly and helpful. The rooms and the entire property were very modern and clean. The room was small but just enough. There is a restaurant on site and worth trying for a snack or a meal.

We had an issue with our booking ....my mistake.....and the friendly and very efficient manager and his assistant went out of their way to sort the issue.....which they did. Fantastic....setting our minds at ease.....the rooms were comfortable with all that you would expect from a 3 star hotel with a great breakfast and room cleaned every day .....couldn't ask for any more......its pretty centrally located and reasonably priced with some great restuarants behind. You can walk to the pantheon and jewish ghetto, the Tiber etc and bus/train connections to Roma termini etc.very good....all in all a very good experience....

The owner/host was very welcoming and made himself available to answer any questions I had and also offered great suggestions on places to eat in the neighborhood. The staff was also very kind and pleasant. The facilities were very well kept and and super clean! The room was amazing - it was extremely clean and spacious (also the bathroom...and the shower in the bathroom...also super spacious and very modern...like the rest of the facilities) and the bed was very comfortable. The snacks in the minibar and the complementary bottle of wine were such a nice treat! Breakfast was also quite nice and there was a variety of options provided (sweet and savory), fresh fruit, juice, yogurt, sandwiches, etc. The b&b is conveniently located near several options for public transportation, but it's also not on the main road, so it's very peaceful. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. I would definitely come back and absolutely recommend the property to anyone looking to visit Rome.
