Attractively set in Reading, The Market House features air-conditioned rooms, a terrace, free WiFi and a restaurant. Featuring a bar, the property is located within 22 km of LaplandUK. There was no breakfast but I had to leave super early anyway. I had no expectations but when I saw the room, I was so pleased, I wished I could have stayed there for days. The team that designed Room 1 where I stayed created a room with a great vibe and the essence of mellow. That's what I call an achievement.

This unique residence is a modern reworking of the Great Western Hotel, built in 1844 and reputed to be the oldest surviving railway hotel in the world. Hotel location is closed to the Reading Station and phonetically isolates (good for resting). This hotel has a French charm that I particularly appreciate. The breakfast was great and staff avaiilable.

Within Forbury Gardens, this luxury 5-star hotel offers a fine dining restaurant and a cocktail bar. Reading Rail Station is a 5-minute walk away. 5 star hotel with all expected modern amenities in the room. Smelt nice everywhere.

This is the second time I get a room in the same place, amazing service, amazing location and cleanliness is outstanding.

Great Location! This place is right on the main street in the town centre, so it's super easy to go shopping and find places to eat. It's only a 5-minute walk from the train station. The room was really clean and had everything we needed. The host always replied quickly when we messaged them. There's no lift, but that wasn't a problem for us because we didn't have much luggage. We highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again when we come back to Reading!

We drove all the way from Belgium to Reading and our travel fatigue was completely gone as we entered the house. The house has easy access to the main road to get out of the town, but on the other hand the house is located on a quiet dead-ended street, facing a river (or maybe a canal). There are wild gooses on the water from time to time. The street parking space is only for permit holders. As advised by Mariana, we parked at Queens Road Car Park, which is 5 minutes' walk from the house. The red brick car park is right by River Thames and surely the location is too good to be only a car park. There are early bird fee of 8 pounds for a whole day (if entering before 8:00am and leave by mid night). There is also special night fare of 3.6 pounds if leaving before 8:00am. The house has two big bedrooms and one smaller bedroom. All the rooms have king size beds (or queen size). The house is cozy and clean. The WiFi speed is the fastest one that I have used EVER (be in at home or work place) - download at 204.8 Mbps and upload at 58.6 Mbps! King's Meadow, a park that is 10 mins' walk is an ideal place for morning run. It is along river Thames and has fantastic views. We went there one morning. The host, Mariana, is friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Location was exceptional, plenty of room, clean modern feel. The parking was extremely secure, which is rare in most cities. Short walk to the train station. Will stay here again for certain.
