On the banks of the River Irwell, the award-winning The Lowry Hotel has rooms with views either over looking the city or the river. With an award winning Restaurant and a spa. Loved everything - so spacious and really feels luxurious. Booked two rooms, one with river views and the second for teenage son. Son’s room was upgraded at no extra cost, a lovely touch. Loved the walk in wardrobes in both rooms. Breakfast was superb.

We had trouble trouble with 3 cards while trying to pay our warranty. The two gentlemen at the desk did a great job and were very helpful, fun and welcoming. Special thanks to them.

The Hello Hotel is 8 km from Manchester city centre, with 2 nearby train stations and free parking. Each room comes with free Wi-Fi and an en suite bathroom with a heated towel rail. Reasonably priced and a great location. The room was perfect for a short stay. We stayed 2 nights and were made very welcome. The restaurant next door was handy and even though the breakfast was limited it was ok.

Set in Manchester, 4.4 km from Trafford Centre, The Waterside Bar, Rooms & Restaurant offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The interior decor was beautiful. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and staff where very helpful and attentive.

Well located in the Salford district of Manchester, Albert View Rooms is situated 2.5 km from Manchester Arena, 3 km from Opera House Manchester and 3.2 km from John Rylands Library. I have no idea why the rating is so low but it was a great stay and I even had a heater working🤣 You can get here by bus at 2 pounds - the stop is outside, it is a quiet and safe neighbourhood there is Lidl on the way to get some food. Check in is remote - you get your room number and a code for the keys - the locker can be tricky - push harder to open. Towels and linen were included in the rate, soap and shampoo. They even provide a small tea pot, that was very lovely along with coffee. The rooms and property are a bit outdated and it’s not that fancy of a place but among all the variants in Manchester this was the best. You can also use a kitchen to heat smth.
