On the banks of the River Irwell, the award-winning The Lowry Hotel has rooms with views either over looking the city or the river. With an award winning Restaurant and a spa. Loved everything - so spacious and really feels luxurious. Booked two rooms, one with river views and the second for teenage son. Son’s room was upgraded at no extra cost, a lovely touch. Loved the walk in wardrobes in both rooms. Breakfast was superb.

We had trouble trouble with 3 cards while trying to pay our warranty. The two gentlemen at the desk did a great job and were very helpful, fun and welcoming. Special thanks to them.

Reasonably priced and a great location. The room was perfect for a short stay. We stayed 2 nights and were made very welcome. The restaurant next door was handy and even though the breakfast was limited it was ok.

Albert View Rooms har ett perfekt läge i området Salford i Manchester, 2,5 km från Manchester Arena, 3 km från Opera House Manchester och 3,2 km från John Rylands Library. I have no idea why the rating is so low but it was a great stay and I even had a heater working🤣 You can get here by bus at 2 pounds - the stop is outside, it is a quiet and safe neighbourhood there is Lidl on the way to get some food. Check in is remote - you get your room number and a code for the keys - the locker can be tricky - push harder to open. Towels and linen were included in the rate, soap and shampoo. They even provide a small tea pot, that was very lovely along with coffee. The rooms and property are a bit outdated and it’s not that fancy of a place but among all the variants in Manchester this was the best. You can also use a kitchen to heat smth.
