Check-in was seamless, as I received the details ahead of my check-in time. The room was really clean, bed was comfortable and facilities were great (iron, coffee machine, boiler, tv with cast function, hair dryer etc). The shower was really great as well. Location is superb, with walking distance to hyde park, restaurants and convenience stores. Extensive transport choices, with 2 underground lines and several bus services. Love that there is a water dispenser at the lobby to keep us hydrated :)

Attractively located in the Westminster Borough district of London, Kensington Gardens Hotel is situated 1.4 km from Paddington Station, 2.5 km from The Serpentine and 2.7 km from Royal Albert Hall. Note we ended up staying in the sister hotel the Phoenix so the amenities mentioned will be focused on them but some features are also relevant to Kensington Gardens so please read with that in mind. First and foremost the staff!! We ended up with extra bags and could not manage any more stairs after already logging 4 weeks of travel. With no questions asked they switched us to a ground floor room in their sister hotel two doors up, the Phoenix. The Phoenix is where we would have eaten breakfast and gone to to access if we came in late anyway, so my review of breakfast, staff etc is still the same. The room was so comfortable with modern amenities and lots of places to charge our devices. They had a rotating fan!! we were so delighted to have this to get the air moving in the room as it was pouring rain and being on the ground floor we didn’t want to have open windows. The curtains are blackout and killed all noise and light and allowed for absolute privacy. They gave us a tub so after weeks of showers we both happily indulged in a good soak! The staff - again , this felt like old world hospitality, highly welcome in a world of stream lined do it yourself. From the breakfast room to the cleaning staff all were neat and uniformed and highly efficient. While breakfast was a buffet, staff were on hand to serve pots of coffee or tea to your table, clear and rest tables for fast turnover and answer inquiries. Our room when we returned every evening was sparkling and spotless. The concierge staff were proactive and friendly and so helpful from loaning me scissors to trying their best to book us a taxi in the middle of a tube strike, they were all wonderful. A note on the location - This is a series of traditional houses turned into one hotel, they have kept the configuration so it still feels very English (made me smile) and when you step out there is a lovely garden in the centre of the square.

Hotel Phoenix udaljen je samo 500 metara od postaja podzemne željeznice Bayswater i Queensway te 5 minuta hoda od parka Hyde. The room was tidy and well-equipped. As other reviews have stated, the room is very small, but I was travelling for business and didn't need more. Public transport nearby was handy, and the parks were a great walking alternative.

Hotel is super close to Paddington Elizabeth Line station so it is very fast and easy to access many parts of London. Besides this, lots of attractions are walking distance from the hotel. It is in a nice calm neighbourhood and feels very safe. The team is excellent, everyone is so nice. Especially all the efforts of Christian made my stay unforgettable, he is the best. The cool Scandinavian vibe of the rooms are unique, everything is top notch and all well thought. Bed was super comfy, I slept very well as they promise. In addition, water stations on every floor, the infrared sauna and Peloton in the gym are nice touches.

This hotel is located a short walk from Hyde Park, in the quiet surroundings of Bayswater. The location was great , all the facilities are very good and friendly staff
